Who we are
Marple Youth Project CIC has been supporting young people aged 11-16 since 2021, with a focus on children with SEND and additional needs. Our aim is to create inclusive, enriching experiences that are fun, empowering and confidence building.
We offer a variety of short breaks, taking young people on exciting outings such as canal boat trips bowling, cinema visits and creative art workshops. During the school holidays, we run holiday clubs-prioritising children receiving free school meals- where we introduce themto new activities like climbing, archery and tennis, helping them discover new interests and skills.
Art is a big part of what we do. We involve children from our youth club and local schools in creative community projects, from vibrant murals to sculpture trails, giving them the chance to express themselves and showcase their talents. We’ve recently begun working with a graffiti artist-so keep an eye out for some exciting new collaborations!
We’re also passionate about building real world confidence. Recently, we started taking small groups on day trips to nearby cities like Liverpool to help them become comfortable using public transport. These experiences not only build independence but also open up future possibilities for education and careers.
At Marple Youth Project, we’re all about creating opportunities , building confidence and helping young people thrive.
